Please plan to pay cash for items purchased at the event
- If you were unable to pick up your badge & bag on Friday, you will have to get it Saturday morning. You will not be allowed into the ballroom without your badge. Again, please make every effort to check in on Friday to prevent delays Saturday morning. For people who are local, we understand that you may not be able to be there Friday evening or at 8:30 on Saturday morning. A committee member will be at the door for check-in when you arrive.
- The dress code for the tour and Saturday autograph/photo-op sessions is casual.
- The dress code for the evening is 'casual dressy.' In general, no shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, etc. For women, think slacks, blouses, dresses, skirts. For men, slacks and a shirt with a collar.
- The ballroom will have chairs and a few tables for attendees to hang out while not in lines. There will be a water station as well.
- During the autograph sessions, in order to keep the lines moving and give everyone the chance to get pictures, autographs, and chat with the guests, please adhere to the following rules:
- Photos are limited to TWO (2) each time you go through the line.
- For Bruce, autographs are limited to THREE (3) items each time you go through the line.
He takes longer to sign than the others, and his line will be the longest.
- Keep each interaction with a guest to under 10 minutes.
- The event program will be autographed for free by each guest.
- If you purchase an item from a particular guest, that guest will sign the item for free (i.e. autograph is included in the purchase price). If you want another guest to sign that same item, you will have to pay separately for each additional signature.
- Items brought from home or purchased from the committee require you to pay separately for an autograph.
- Pricing of items brought by guests is set by the guests and includes that guest's autograph. 8x10 photos will be a maximum of $20 (black/white and color). Items other than 8x10 photos will be priced by the person selling them (example: a limited edition Tron poster would cost more than a photograph!). If you bring your own item to be signed by a guest, that will be $20 for an 8x10 photograph and priced by the guest for anything else.
- There will be no photography or filming allowed during the FranScene contest, dinner or the Q&A. You may take photos/videos once the Q&A wraps.
- Each person will be given a single voting card for the FranScene contest at check-in. Votes must be placed in the designated location before the end of the afternoon autograph session.
- There will be some items for a silent auction. Winners will be announced during the afternoon autograph session to allow time for items to be autographed, if the winner wishes to do so.
- The winner of the FranScene contest will be announced prior to the start of the Q&A.
- added 10/02: After a discussion with guests, it has been decided that 2 selfies are free with each guest. Any more than that, a guest *may* charge.
